Description

Discover how to make delicious Keto Philly Cheesesteak Roll Ups with this easy recipe. Perfect for a low-carb meal or snack!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (480 ml) shredded Monterey jack cheese
  • 16 ounces (450 g) ground beef
  • 1/2 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 ounces (113 g) cream cheese

Instructions

  1. Set your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit to preheat.
  2. Cook the ground beef along with the onion and bell pepper slices in a skillet over medium-high heat until the vegetables become tender and the beef is fully browned. Remove any extra grease.
  3. Mix in the Worcestershire sauce and cream cheese, seasoning with salt and pepper as desired, stirring the mixture until the cheese is fully melted and incorporated.
  4. Distribute the shredded Monterey Jack cheese into 8 equal-sized circles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 8-10 minutes until the edges are golden and the cheese has a lace-like texture.
  5. Allow the cheese to cool briefly so it remains flexible, then place a portion of the meat mixture onto each cheese circle. Carefully wrap the cheese around the filling and let it cool to firm up into a roll before serving.

Notes

  • For a lighter option, try using ground turkey or chicken instead of ground beef.
  • Add some heat by incorporating diced jalapeños or hot sauce into the meat mixture.
  • Experiment with different cheeses like cheddar or pepper jack for a unique flavor twist.
