Description

Discover a delicious Keto Cloud Bread recipe that is light, fluffy, and low-carb. Learn how to make this simple and satisfying bread alternative today!

Ingredients

  • – 350 ml (12 fl oz) egg whites
  • – 60 g (2 oz) beef protein powder, unflavoured, 2 scoops
  • – 1/2 tsp (3 ml) Cream of Tartar
  • – vegetable oil for greasing the pan

Instructions

  1. Set your convection oven to 160°C (320°F) to preheat.
  2. In a large, clean bowl, beat the egg whites on medium speed until they reach stiff peaks, which should take about 5-8 minutes. You may use a stand mixer or a hand-held electric mixer for this.
  3. Introduce the beef protein powder and Cream of Tartar into the egg whites, and blend on a low setting until the mixture is smooth and evenly colored.
  4. Lightly coat a bread loaf pan with vegetable oil, then line it with parchment paper. For easier handling, crumple the parchment paper into a ball, then flatten it out to fit the pan’s shape.
  5. Transfer the egg white mixture into the loaf pan, allowing it to rise above the pan’s edge. Shape it into a loaf using the back of a spoon, and place it in the oven to bake for 30 minutes.
  6. After the baking time is done, switch off the oven and wedge a kitchen towel in the oven door to leave it slightly open. Let it sit for 20-30 minutes to cool gradually, which helps in preventing the loaf from collapsing.
  7. Take the loaf out of the oven and cut it into 10 thick pieces. Each slice contains specific nutritional values.
  8. Store these pieces in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze them with parchment paper between each slice for up to 2 weeks.
