  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (30 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (5 g)
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder (5 g)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (2 g)
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano (1 g)
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme (1 g)
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup heavy cream (240 ml)
  • 1/2 cup grated non-alcoholic cheese (50 g)
  • 1 tablespoon butter (14 g)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice (30 ml)
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (15 g)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
  3. In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  4. Rub spice mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken thighs.
  5. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  6. Add chicken thighs to the skillet, skin side down, and sear for 5 minutes.
  7. Flip the chicken thighs and sear the other side for another 5 minutes.
  8. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  9. Lower heat to medium, and add butter to the skillet.
  10. Pour heavy cream into the skillet, stirring to combine with the butter.
  11. Add Parmesan cheese and lemon juice, stirring until the cheese melts and sauce thickens.
  12. Return chicken thighs to the skillet, spooning sauce over them.
  13. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
  14. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until chicken is cooked through.
  15. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Marinate the chicken thighs in the spice mixture for 30 minutes before cooking for a richer flavor.
  • Use heavy cream generously to create a creamy and indulgent sauce.
  • Try different non-alcoholic cheeses for a unique twist on this dish.
