Description
A savory dish featuring tender steak bites seared in garlic and butter, perfect for gatherings or a comforting family meal.
Ingredients
- 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak
- 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces and season generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add steak bites in batches, cooking for 3-4 minutes until browned on one side.
- Flip the steak bites, add minced garlic, and cook for an additional 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add unsalted butter, allowing it to melt while basting the steak bites.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes until desired doneness is reached (aim for medium-rare).
- Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve warm.
Notes
For best results, let the steak come to room temperature before cooking and use a meat thermometer to check for doneness.
