Description

Ingredients

  • 1 head of cabbage, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of fresh thyme
  • 1 Scotch bonnet pepper, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until they become translucent.
  3. Stir in the chopped cabbage and cook until it begins to wilt.
  4. Add thyme and Scotch bonnet pepper, then season with salt and pepper.
  5. Continue to cook until the cabbage is tender but still vibrant. Serve hot.

Notes

Adjust the Scotch bonnet pepper according to your heat preference. Additional vegetables like bell peppers or carrots can enhance the dish.
