Jalapeño Popper Turkey Burgers bring a delightful twist to the classic burger experience with ground turkey, jalapeños, and creamy cheese for a flavor explosion.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup fresh jalapeños, diced
- Cooked bacon, for topping
- Lettuce wraps, for serving
Instructions
- Combine ground turkey, almond flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and diced jalapeños in another bowl.
- Form the turkey mixture into patties.
- Make an indentation in the center of each patty and stuff with the cheese and jalapeño mixture, sealing the edges.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and cook the turkey burgers for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
- Top with crispy bacon and serve on lettuce wraps.
Notes
