Description

A vibrant and nutritious salad made with canned tuna, fresh vegetables, and a zesty dressing, perfect for a light meal or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 can of tuna, drained
  • 1/4 cup of chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup of chopped green bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup of cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup of black olives, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, chopped red onion, chopped green bell pepper, halved cherry tomatoes, sliced black olives, and chopped fresh basil.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper until well blended.
  3. Pour the dressing over the tuna mixture and toss gently to combine.
  4. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes
