Description

A comforting meatloaf made with ground turkey, fresh herbs, and stuffing mix that evokes nostalgic flavors and family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 cup herb-seasoned stuffing mix
  • 1 cup sautéed vegetables (onions, celery, carrots)
  • 2 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh sage, chopped
  • 1/2 cup turkey gravy for topping
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, stuffing mix, sautéed vegetables, thyme, sage, salt, pepper, and the egg. Mix well until fully combined.
  3. Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place it in a greased baking dish.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 60-70 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  6. Serve with hot turkey gravy on top.

Notes

For added flavor, consider incorporating grated Parmesan cheese into the meat mixture. Letting the meatloaf rest before slicing helps retain its juices.
