  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for icing)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for icing)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Whisk the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract in another bowl until fully combined.
  4. Gradually stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the prepared dish in an even layer.
  6. Mix the cinnamon and brown sugar in a small bowl, then sprinkle over the first layer of batter.
  7. Spread the remaining batter on top and swirl with a knife for a marbled effect.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
