Ingredients
- 1 pound (454 g) ground beef (450 grams)
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup (10.5 ounce (298 g) s / 300 grams)
- 1 can green beans, drained (15 ounce (425 g) s / 425 grams)
- 1 can sliced potatoes, drained (15 ounce (425 g) s / 425 grams)
- 1 cup (240 ml) shredded cheddar cheese (115 grams)
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion to the skillet and cook until the onion is soft.
- Drain any excess fat from the skillet.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, mixing well with the beef and onion.
- Add the drained green beans to the mixture and stir to combine.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Spread the drained sliced potatoes evenly in the bottom of a baking dish.
- Pour the beef mixture over the potatoes, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the casserole.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
