Ingredients

  • 1 pound (454 g) ground beef (450 grams)
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup (10.5 ounce (298 g) s / 300 grams)
  • 1 can green beans, drained (15 ounce (425 g) s / 425 grams)
  • 1 can sliced potatoes, drained (15 ounce (425 g) s / 425 grams)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) shredded cheddar cheese (115 grams)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  3. Add the chopped onion to the skillet and cook until the onion is soft.
  4. Drain any excess fat from the skillet.
  5. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, mixing well with the beef and onion.
  6. Add the drained green beans to the mixture and stir to combine.
  7. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  8. Spread the drained sliced potatoes evenly in the bottom of a baking dish.
  9. Pour the beef mixture over the potatoes, spreading it evenly.
  10. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the casserole.
  11. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
  12. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
  13. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
