Ingredients

  • 1 pound (454 g) ground beef (450 grams)
  • 4 large potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil (15 milliliters)
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) salt (5 grams)
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) black pepper (1 gram)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) paprika (2 grams)
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) beef broth (120 milliliters)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) frozen peas (150 grams)
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) chopped fresh parsley (15 grams)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and peel the potatoes.
  3. Cut the potatoes into small cubes.
  4. Place the potato cubes in a pot of salted water.
  5. Bring the water to a boil and cook for 10 minutes.
  6. Drain the potatoes and set aside.
  7. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  8. Add chopped onion to the skillet and sauté until translucent.
  9. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  10. Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  11. Season the beef with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  12. Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through.
  13. Stir in the beef broth and bring to a simmer.
  14. Add the frozen peas to the skillet and mix well.
  15. Add the cooked potatoes to the skillet and combine.
