Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 2 teaspoons olive oil (plus more for cooking)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup avocado mayo
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon pickle juice or apple cider vinegar
- 4 cups chopped romaine lettuce
- 1/2 cup sliced cherry tomatoes
- 1/3 cup sliced red onion
- 1/3 cup sliced pickles
- 1/3 cup cooked, chopped bacon (optional)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Combine ground turkey, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix until just combined. Shape into patties.
- Heat a skillet with olive oil over medium heat and cook turkey patties for 5-6 minutes on each side until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Mix avocado mayo, ketchup, Dijon mustard, pickle juice, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a small bowl to prepare the special sauce.
- Assemble the bowls with romaine lettuce as the base, topped with cooked turkey patties, cherry tomatoes, red onion, pickles, bacon if desired, and drizzle with the special sauce. Finish with a sprinkle of cheddar cheese.
