Description

These Healthy Apple Cider Turkey Meatballs blend the flavors of ground turkey and apple cider, creating a nutritious, comforting dish perfect for family meals.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup apple cider
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for browning

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, apple cider, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix everything until well incorporated.
  2. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Brown the meatballs on all sides for a tasty outer layer.
  5. Transfer the meatballs to a baking sheet and bake them in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until cooked through. The inside should be white with no pink remaining.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy the delightful flavors of the Healthy Apple Cider Turkey Meatballs.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding fresh herbs such as parsley or basil. If the meatballs seem dry, add a touch more apple cider or an additional egg.
