Description
A wholesome alternative to the classic banana bread, made with ripe bananas, oat flour, and coconut sugar for a guilt-free dessert.
Ingredients
- 3 spotty bananas
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups oat flour
- 1/2 cup coconut sugar
- 1/4 cup avocado oil
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- A few shakes of cinnamon
- Chocolate chips for the batter and topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
- Mash the bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
- Add the eggs, oat flour, coconut sugar, avocado oil, sea salt, baking soda, and cinnamon to the bowl. Mix until well combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips, reserving some to sprinkle on top.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Slice and enjoy!
Notes
Opt for ripe bananas for maximum sweetness and flavor. Reserve chocolate chips for topping.
