Description

A wholesome alternative to the classic banana bread, made with ripe bananas, oat flour, and coconut sugar for a guilt-free dessert.


Ingredients

  • 3 spotty bananas
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups oat flour
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/4 cup avocado oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • A few shakes of cinnamon
  • Chocolate chips for the batter and topping


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mash the bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs, oat flour, coconut sugar, avocado oil, sea salt, baking soda, and cinnamon to the bowl. Mix until well combined.
  4. Stir in chocolate chips, reserving some to sprinkle on top.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips on top.
  6. Bake for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the bread to cool for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

Opt for ripe bananas for maximum sweetness and flavor. Reserve chocolate chips for topping.
