Description

Delicious Hawaiian meatballs made with ground chicken, breadcrumbs, and pineapple, bringing a taste of the islands to your table.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup pineapple, mashed
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, mashed pineapple, soy sauce, ginger, beaten egg, salt, and pepper thoroughly.
  3. Form the mixture into small meatballs, about one inch in diameter.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the meatballs on it.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through and golden brown.

Notes

To enhance your meatballs, avoid overmixing the ingredients. Chill the mixture slightly before forming meatballs for better shape retention.
