Description

A quick and flavorful ground turkey and bell pepper stir-fry, perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 bell peppers (red, yellow, or green), sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: cooked rice or quinoa for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion and garlic, sautéing until translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in bell peppers and soy sauce, cooking until the peppers are tender, around 3-4 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve over cooked rice or quinoa if desired.

Notes

For a zesty kick, consider adding ginger or chili flakes along with garlic. Use fresh herbs like cilantro for garnish.
