Description

A comforting and nutritious dish of ground turkey and vibrant bell peppers, sautéed to perfection for a satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 3 bell peppers (red, yellow, green), sliced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced onion and cook for 2 minutes. Then, add the minced garlic and sauté for another 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the ground turkey and cook until browned and no longer pink, breaking it up as it cooks.
  4. Stir in the sliced bell peppers and cook for another 5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Add the tomato paste, soy sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper, stirring to coat evenly.
  6. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, then remove from heat and garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

To elevate the dish, consider adding spices or herbs of your choice. Experiment with different paprika variations or add a splash of lime juice before serving for brightness.
