Description

A delicious grilled cheese burrito combines gooey melted cheese and seasoned beef wrapped in a fluffy tortilla, creating the ultimate comfort food.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup cooked white rice
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
  • 1/4 cup chipotle sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • Butter or oil for grilling

Instructions

  1. Begin by browning the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat for 8-10 minutes. Remove any excess grease and stir in the taco seasoning with 1/4 cup of water. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes until well blended and flavorful.
  2. Next, heat your tortillas on a dry skillet or in the microwave until they soften.
  3. Lay one tortilla flat, then add a layer of cooked rice, seasoned beef, nacho cheese sauce, chipotle sauce, and sour cream. Top with shredded cheddar and mozzarella.
  4. Preheat a clean skillet and add 2 tablespoons of shredded cheese. Place the burrito seam-side down and cook for about 3-4 minutes until the cheese melts and forms a crispy crust. Carefully flip and repeat on the other side.

Notes

Experiment with different cheeses for unique flavors and add toppings like guacamole or salsa for extra texture.
