This Glazed Baked Cauliflower transforms humble florets into a deliciously caramelized side dish that’s both healthy and satisfying.
Ingredients
- 1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, soy sauce, honey or maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add the cauliflower florets to the bowl and toss to coat evenly in the glaze.
- Spread the coated cauliflower on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the cauliflower is tender and caramelized.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve warm as a side dish or a light main course.
Notes
For a gluten-free version, substitute tamari for soy sauce. Experiment with additional spices for different flavor profiles.
