Description

This Glazed Baked Cauliflower transforms humble florets into a deliciously caramelized side dish that’s both healthy and satisfying.

Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, soy sauce, honey or maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the cauliflower florets to the bowl and toss to coat evenly in the glaze.
  4. Spread the coated cauliflower on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the cauliflower is tender and caramelized.
  6. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve warm as a side dish or a light main course.

Notes

For a gluten-free version, substitute tamari for soy sauce. Experiment with additional spices for different flavor profiles.
