Ingredients
- 1 medium to large Spaghetti Squash
- 60 ml (4 tbsp) Olive Oil divided
- 4 large cloves of Garlic minced (about 2 tbsp (30 ml))
- 1/4 tsp (1 ml) Sea Salt
- 1/4 tsp (1 ml) Black Pepper
- 60 g (1/4 cup) Grated Parmesan (replace with halal-friendly cheese)
- 60 g (1/4 cup) chopped Italian Parsley
Instructions
- Set your oven to 400°F to preheat.
- Rinse the Spaghetti Squash and slice it in half lengthwise.
- Remove the seeds from the center.
- Coat the interior of the Squash with 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
- Season with sea salt and black pepper.
- Arrange the Squash halves cut side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Roast for 30-35 minutes or until the flesh is easily pierced with a fork.
- Using a fork, detach the interior to form ‘spaghetti strands’.
- In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil and add minced garlic.
- Cook over medium heat for 1-2 minutes until the garlic is tender and aromatic.
- Add the Spaghetti Squash strands to the skillet.
- Incorporate the cheese and parsley.
- Take off the heat and blend until everything is combined.
- Serve right away and enjoy your dish!

- Pour in water to a depth of 1 inch to generate steam in the microwave.
