Description

A hearty and savory garlic parmesan meatloaf that brings comfort and connection to the dinner table.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (or mix with turkey)
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (or almond flour for gluten-free)
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional glaze: garlic butter or marinara sauce


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Gather all ingredients in a large bowl.
  3. Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, minced garlic, parmesan cheese, milk, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  4. Mix gently until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a prepared loaf pan or shape it freehand on a lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  7. Brush with garlic butter or marinara sauce during the last 10 minutes of baking, if desired.
  8. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Serve with mashed potatoes or a salad. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to four days.
