Description

A comforting and flavorful dish featuring juicy flank steak paired with roasted Brussels sprouts and sweet potatoes, all enhanced by garlic butter.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak
  • 2 cups Brussels sprouts, halved
  • 2 cups sweet potatoes, diced
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toss the Brussels sprouts and sweet potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper on a baking sheet. Roast in the oven for about 20-25 minutes until tender.
  3. While the vegetables are roasting, heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Season the flank steak with salt and pepper.
  5. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet, then add the steak. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting time for desired doneness.
  6. Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  7. Serve the sliced steak with roasted Brussels sprouts and sweet potatoes.

Notes

Experiment with the amount of garlic and consider adding herbs like thyme or rosemary for extra flavor.
