Ingredients
- 1 package pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
- 1/2 cup cooked sausage crumbles
- 1/4 cup diced bell peppers
- 1/4 cup chopped onions
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- 1 egg wash (optional)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
- Spread the marinara sauce evenly over the dough, leaving the edges bare for sealing.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella generously over the sauce.
- Evenly distribute pepperoni, sausage, bell peppers, and onions over the cheese.
- Sprinkle Italian seasoning on top of the fillings.
- Roll the dough tightly, sealing the seams as you go.
- Place the seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the surface with egg wash if desired.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Notes
Use room-temperature dough for easier rolling, and drain excess moisture from vegetables and meats to prevent sogginess.
