Description

Delicious and easy-to-make fluffy pancakes that warm the heart and bring joy to the breakfast table.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Additional butter for greasing the griddle


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, beat the egg and combine it with the milk and melted butter.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mix and stir gently until just combined.
  4. Allow the batter to rest for five minutes.
  5. Preheat and lightly grease the griddle with butter over medium heat.
  6. Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the griddle.
  7. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

For extra fluffiness, consider separating the egg and beating the egg white until stiff peaks form before folding it into the batter.
