Ingredients
- – 1 pound (454 g) ground chicken
- – 4 green onions, thinly sliced, whites and greens separated
- – 2 teaspoons (10 ml) grated fresh ginger
- – 4 cloves garlic, minced
- – 16 ounces (454 g) coleslaw mix or shredded cabbage
- – 3 tablespoons (45 ml) soy sauce
- – 1 teaspoon (5 ml) sesame oil or to taste
- – chopped fresh cilantro for garnish
- – sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- In a 10-inch pan on medium-high heat, cook the ground chicken, using a wooden spoon to crumble it. Remove any excess grease.
- Add the white parts of the green onions, ginger, garlic, and coleslaw mix. Stir occasionally and cook until the coleslaw softens, roughly 5 minutes.
- Pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil, then continue cooking for an additional minute.
- Serve in bowls and top with cilantro, the green parts of the onions, and sesame seeds.
