Description

These easy turkey meatballs showcase the versatility of ground turkey, combining fresh parsley and Parmesan for a burst of flavor without the need for breadcrumbs.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, minced garlic, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. If baking, place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through. If pan-frying, cook meatballs for about 6-8 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
  5. Serve warm with your favorite sauce or side dish.

Notes

Consider adding more herbs or spices to customize the flavor. Use a cookie scoop for consistent meatball sizes and try adding grated zucchini or finely chopped mushrooms for juiciness.
