Quick and nutritious protein bites combining oats, nut butter, and sweeteners for a healthy snack.
Ingredients
- 1 cup of oats
- ½ cup of nut butter (peanut, almond, or cashew)
- ½ cup of honey or maple syrup
- ¼ cup of protein powder (optional)
- ¼ cup of chocolate chips or dried fruit (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the oats, nut butter, and sweetener until well-mixed.
- If you chose to include protein powder, add it now and mix thoroughly.
- Adjust the consistency by adding more nut butter or sweetener if the mixture seems too dry.
- Fold in the chocolate chips or dried fruit, making sure they’re evenly distributed.
- Roll the mixture into small balls, about the size of a tablespoon.
- Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Refrigerate them for at least 30 minutes to firm up before enjoying.
Notes
For best results, roll the mixture tightly and adjust consistency as needed.
