Ingredients

  • 1 zucchini, cut into 1/4-inch slices
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled

  • 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s dry bread crumbs, or more as needed
  • 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s olive oil, or more as needed


Instructions

  1. Rub the zucchini slices with the peeled garlic clove; then put them aside.
  2. Arrange the beaten egg, flour, and bread crumbs in three separate small bowls.
  3. Coat each zucchini slice with flour, shaking off any extra. Submerge in the egg, then cover with bread crumbs.
  4. Warm up the olive oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat and cook the crumb-coated zucchini in portions, frying them in the hot oil until they are golden on both sides, approximately 5 minutes.
