Ingredients

  • 2 zucchinis (about 5 cm thick) sliced thin
  • 1 cup (240 ml) almond flour
  • ½ cup (120 ml) finely grated alternative cheese
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons (8 ml) sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) fresh ground black pepper


Instructions

  1. Warm up your air fryer to 400°F or your oven to 425°F.
  2. Beat the eggs well in a shallow dish.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine almond flour, alternative cheese, sea salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and freshly ground black pepper.
  4. Coat the zucchini slices by first dipping them in the beaten eggs, then covering them with the almond flour mixture.
  5. Arrange the coated zucchini chips in a single layer either in the air fryer or on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Cook for 8 minutes in the air fryer or 12 minutes in the oven, making sure to flip them halfway, until they turn a lovely golden brown.
