Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Burger buns
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Your favorite toppings (optional)


Instructions

  1. Start by mixing all the ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. Combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, egg, garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper until fully incorporated.
  3. Form the mixture into patties with clean hands, ensuring they’re even in size for uniform cooking.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Place the patties into the skillet.
  6. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  7. Serve the turkey burgers on fresh buns topped with lettuce, tomato, and any other favorite toppings.

Notes

Let the burgers rest for a minute after cooking to allow the juices to redistribute. Experiment with spices to elevate the flavor.
