Description

A simple yet sophisticated gourmet steak dish paired with creamy mashed potatoes and vibrant green beans.


Ingredients

  • 2 steaks (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup green beans
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Butter (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Season the steaks with salt and pepper.
  2. Add olive oil to the skillet and cook the steaks for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare or to your desired doneness.
  3. In a separate pot, prepare the mashed potatoes as per your recipe or package instructions.
  4. In another pot, bring water to a boil and cook the green beans for 4-5 minutes until tender. Drain and season with a little salt and olive oil.
  5. Serve the steaks with mashed potatoes and green beans on the side, garnished with minced garlic and butter if desired.

Notes

Allow the steak to rest for a few minutes after cooking for better juiciness. Experiment with seasonings for the green beans to enhance flavor.
