Ingredients
- 1 pound (450g) broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) toasted sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Spread the broccoli florets on a baking sheet.
- Drizzle the broccoli with vegetable oil and toss to coat evenly.
- Roast the broccoli in the oven for 15-20 minutes, until tender and slightly charred.
- In a small bowl, mix gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, and minced garlic.
- Remove roasted broccoli from the oven and transfer to a large bowl.
- Pour the gochujang mixture over the broccoli and toss to coat thoroughly.
- Transfer the coated broccoli to a serving plate.
- Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds over the broccoli.
- Garnish with thinly sliced green onions before serving.
