Ingredients

  • 1 pound (450g) broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Spread the broccoli florets on a baking sheet.
  3. Drizzle the broccoli with vegetable oil and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Roast the broccoli in the oven for 15-20 minutes, until tender and slightly charred.
  5. In a small bowl, mix gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, and minced garlic.
  6. Remove roasted broccoli from the oven and transfer to a large bowl.
  7. Pour the gochujang mixture over the broccoli and toss to coat thoroughly.
