Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (15 ml)
- 1 spaghetti squash, halved and seeded
Instructions
- Heat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Use vegetable oil to lightly coat a baking tray. Position the halved spaghetti squash with the cut side facing down on the tray.
- Roast in the preheated oven until the squash is tender and can be easily pierced with a fork, this will take about 40 to 60 minutes depending on its size.
- Take the squash out of the oven and let it cool until it’s safe to touch. Use a fork to scrape out the inside, and then throw away the skins.
Notes
- Brush the inside of squash halves with olive oil before roasting for a richer flavor.
- Sprinkle salt and pepper on scraped squash for added seasoning.
- Mix in freshly chopped herbs like parsley or basil for a burst of freshness.
