Description

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (15 ml)
  • 1 spaghetti squash, halved and seeded


Instructions

  1. Heat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Use vegetable oil to lightly coat a baking tray. Position the halved spaghetti squash with the cut side facing down on the tray.
  2. Roast in the preheated oven until the squash is tender and can be easily pierced with a fork, this will take about 40 to 60 minutes depending on its size.
  3. Take the squash out of the oven and let it cool until it’s safe to touch. Use a fork to scrape out the inside, and then throw away the skins.

Notes

  • Brush the inside of squash halves with olive oil before roasting for a richer flavor.
  • Sprinkle salt and pepper on scraped squash for added seasoning.
