- 1/2 c. pepper jelly
- Fresh thyme leaves, for serving (optional )
Instructions
- Warm up the oven to 375°F. Lightly coat two 24-slot mini muffin trays with cooking spray. Lay out the puff pastry on a flat surface and divide it into 24 sections. Position each section in the greased muffin slots.
- Bake the pastry until it starts to turn a light golden color and puffs up, approximately 12 minutes. Allow it to cool for a short time.
- Slice the cream cheese into 24 portions. Gently push a piece of cream cheese into the middle of each pastry, parting the pastry as necessary. Spoon roughly one generous teaspoon of pepper jelly on top of each.
- Return the bites to the oven and bake until the pastry is a rich golden hue and the cream cheese is heated through, about 8 to 10 minutes. Optionally, garnish with thyme leaves. Allow them to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
