Ingredients
- 1 cup almond flour (120 g)
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed (7 g)
- 1 tbsp chia seeds (9 g)
- 1/2 tsp salt (2.5 g)
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder (1.25 g)
- 1/4 tsp onion powder (1.25 g)
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika (1.25 g)
- 1 egg (50 g)
- 1 tbsp water (15 ml)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, ground flaxseed, chia seeds, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
- Stir the dry ingredients until evenly mixed.
- In a separate small bowl, beat the egg and water together.
- Pour the egg mixture into the dry ingredients.
- Mix until a dough forms.
- Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper.
- Roll the dough out to 1/8-inch thickness.
- Remove the top sheet of parchment paper.
- Use a knife or pizza cutter to cut the dough into triangles.
- Transfer the parchment paper with the dough onto a baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let cool completely on the baking sheet.
- Break apart the cooled tortilla chips along the cut lines.
- Store in an airtight container until ready to serve.
