Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour (120 g)
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed (7 g)
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds (9 g)
  • 1/2 tsp salt (2.5 g)
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder (1.25 g)
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder (1.25 g)
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika (1.25 g)
  • 1 egg (50 g)
  • 1 tbsp water (15 ml)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, ground flaxseed, chia seeds, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
  3. Stir the dry ingredients until evenly mixed.
  4. In a separate small bowl, beat the egg and water together.
  5. Pour the egg mixture into the dry ingredients.
  6. Mix until a dough forms.
  7. Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper.
  8. Roll the dough out to 1/8-inch thickness.
  9. Remove the top sheet of parchment paper.
  10. Use a knife or pizza cutter to cut the dough into triangles.
  11. Transfer the parchment paper with the dough onto a baking sheet.
  12. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes until golden and crispy.
  13. Remove from the oven and let cool completely on the baking sheet.
  14. Break apart the cooled tortilla chips along the cut lines.
  15. Store in an airtight container until ready to serve.
