Ingredients

  • 2 Cans Cream of Chicken
  • 2 Cans Sweet Corn
  • 4 Celery Stalks
  • 2-3 Chicken Breasts
  • 2 C Water
  • 1/2 C (1 stick) Vegetable Oil
  • 3-4 Large Potatoes
  • 3-4 TBS Corn Starch
  • 1/2 C Whole Milk
  • 1/4 C Heavy Cream


Instructions

  1. Dice the chicken breasts into small cubes.
  2. Place the chicken, sweet corn, and cream of chicken soup into the crockpot.
  3. Pour in two cups of water.
  4. Chop the potatoes and celery, then add them to the pot.
  5. Include the vegetable oil by cutting it into pieces and adding it in.
  6. Set the crockpot to low heat and let it cook for six hours, or until the chicken is thoroughly cooked.
  7. Combine the cornstarch with the whole milk to create a paste, then incorporate it into the crockpot to achieve a chowder-like thickness.
