Ingredients
- 3 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 4 Tbsp homemade taco seasoning
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth (or water)
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- Top the chicken with taco seasoning, ensuring even coating.
- Pour the chicken broth over the mixture.
- Close the lid and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-8 hours.
- Once cooked, remove the chicken breast and place it in a large bowl.
- Shred the chicken using two forks or a stand-mixer.
- Stir the reserved crockpot juices and mix in 1/2 cup into the shredded chicken.
