Ingredients
- 1 yellow squash

- 1/4 cup flour (30g)

- 1 egg
- 1/8 cup milk (30ml)
- 3/4 cup breadcrumbs (90g)
Instructions
- Cut the yellow squash into slices approximately ¼ inch thick, removing and discarding the ends.
- Put the squash slices in a bowl and sprinkle with salt, then mix well.
- Combine the flour, garlic, and onion powders in one bowl and stir until mixed.
- In a separate bowl, beat together the egg and milk.
- Place breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
- Coat each squash slice in the flour blend, then dip into the egg mixture, and finally cover with breadcrumbs, pressing to adhere as much as possible. Repeat for all slices.
- Arrange the squash slices in a single layer in the air fryer. Cook for 8-10 minutes at 400°F.
- Once cooked, serve right away. Repeat the process with any remaining slices.
