Description

The crack burger is a simple yet flavorful dish that evokes memories of backyard barbecues, combining fresh ingredients for a delightful experience.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Tomato slices
  • Mayonnaise
  • Ketchup

Instructions

  1. Combine the ground beef, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl until incorporated.
  2. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and form them into patties, creating a slight indentation in the center of each.
  3. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook the patties for about 5 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) for medium doneness.
  5. Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking and cover to melt.
  6. Toast the hamburger buns, if desired.
  7. Layer lettuce leaves and tomato slices on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the cooked burger patty.
  8. Spread mayonnaise and ketchup on the top bun before placing it over the patty to complete the burger.
  9. Serve immediately with your favorite sides, such as fries, onion rings, or a fresh salad.

Notes

To ensure juicy burgers, avoid overmixing the ground beef. Let the cooked burgers rest for a minute before serving to allow juices to redistribute.
