Ingredients
- Wonton wrappers
- Crab meat
- Cream cheese
- Green onions, chopped
- Garlic powder
- Soy sauce
- Salt and pepper
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine crab meat, cream cheese, chopped green onions, garlic powder, soy sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Lay a wonton wrapper on a flat surface and place a small spoonful of the filling in the center.
- Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold it over the filling, and seal the edges to form an egg roll.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or skillet to 350°F (175°C).
- Carefully place the egg rolls in the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
Notes
For a stronger seal, use egg wash when sealing the wrappers. You can also bake the egg rolls at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes if preferred.
