Description

Delicious cowboy sliders featuring savory ground beef, crispy bacon, and spicy jalapenos, all nestled in sweet Hawaiian buns.

Ingredients

  • 12 Hawaiian buns
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2-3 jalapeno peppers, sliced
  • 6 slices of bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 2 cups cheese, shredded (cheddar or your favorite type)
  • ½ cup cowboy butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned and seasoned to taste.
  3. Slice the Hawaiian buns in half horizontally and place the bottom halves on a baking sheet.
  4. Layer the bottom halves with a generous amount of cooked beef.
  5. Add sliced jalapenos, followed by the crispy bacon.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the top.
  7. Place the top halves of the buns back on.
  8. Brush the tops of the buns with cowboy butter using a pastry brush.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven until the cheese is melted and the sliders are golden brown, about 10-15 minutes.

Notes

Customize the spice level by controlling the number of jalapenos used. Let the sliders sit for a couple of minutes after baking to allow flavors to meld.
