Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
- 4 slices crispy bacon, chopped
- 1 packet ranch seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil (optional)
Instructions
- In a large pot, add water and bring to a boil.
- Add the halved potatoes and cook for about 10 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
- Add the green beans and continue to cook for another 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the skillet.
- Add the cooked potatoes and green beans to the skillet, and sprinkle with ranch seasoning. Stir to coat the vegetables in the seasoning. If desired, drizzle a little olive oil for extra flavor.
- Cook for an additional 5 minutes until everything is heated through.
- Stir in the crispy bacon and season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
Notes
For added depth, adjust the ranch seasoning to your preference. Consider adding extra vegetables for variety.
