- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 cup yogurt
- 1/4 cup water (as needed)

- Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Divide the rested dough into smaller balls and roll each into a flat, oval shape.
- Heat a skillet or tawa over medium-high heat.
- Cook each naan for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown, pressing gently to puff up.
- Brush with butter or oil and sprinkle with chopped cilantro if desired.
- Serve warm with your favorite curry or dip.
Notes
For the best results, ensure the skillet is hot enough before adding the naan to achieve perfect puffiness.
