Ingredients

  • 1 cup beef strips (240 ml)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) cream of tartar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (8 g)
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (15 ml)
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved (150 g)
  • 2 tablespoons chili sauce (30 g)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil (3 g)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a blender, combine cottage cheese, egg yolks, cornstarch, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites with cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the cottage cheese mixture into the beaten egg whites until just combined.
  5. Spoon the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, forming small rounds.
  6. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and set.
