Ingredients
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
- Blend the cottage cheese until smooth.
- Add the granulated sugar, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract; mix well.
- Incorporate the eggs and combine thoroughly.
- Whisk together the cocoa powder, flour, and baking powder in a separate bowl.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips if using.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, checking with a toothpick for doneness.
- Allow to cool before slicing into squares.
Notes
For an extra indulgent treat, sprinkle chocolate chips on top before baking. Store brownies in an airtight container for up to a week.
