Description

Delicious cookies loaded with white chocolate chips and crunchy chocolate sandwich cookies, perfect for connecting over shared experiences.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup + 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened, at room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 10 Oreo or chocolate sandwich cookies (coarsely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl. Set aside.
  3. Beat the softened butter and granulated sugar together in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until a thick cookie dough forms.
  6. Fold in the coarsely chopped chocolate sandwich cookies and white chocolate chips.
  7. Scoop rounded portions of dough onto the baking sheets and slightly press them down.
  8. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are set but centers remain soft.
  9. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.

Notes

For thicker cookies, use cold butter; for enhanced flavor, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking.
