Description

Delightful bites featuring a fudgy brownie exterior with a sweet cookie dough center that brings both flavor and nostalgia.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk or cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour (heat-treated)
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips or candy melts
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your baking pan.
  2. Whisk together the melted butter and sugar until combined.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla and mix until smooth.
  4. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined.
  5. Spread the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  6. Cool completely.
  7. Beat softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  8. Add milk and vanilla, then mix in the heat-treated flour until fully incorporated.
  9. Fold in mini chocolate chips.
  10. Roll the cookie dough into 1-inch balls and refrigerate until firm.
  11. Cut cooled brownies into squares slightly larger than the cookie dough balls.
  12. Flatten a brownie square, place a cookie dough ball in the center, and wrap brownie around the cookie dough, sealing edges.
  13. Melt chocolate chips or candy melts with coconut oil in the microwave.
  14. Dip each brownie bite into melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off, then place on a parchment-lined tray.
  15. Optionally, drizzle with white chocolate or add sprinkles.
  16. Refrigerate for 15 minutes for the chocolate to set.
  17. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

Measure ingredients accurately for best results. Refrigerate cookie dough balls before wrapping for better shape.
