Description

A rich and creamy coconut milk dessert featuring chewy glutinous rice balls and tapioca pearls, topped with tropical fruits for a delightful finish.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup glutinous rice balls
  • 1/2 cup tapioca pearls
  • 2 cups coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup tropical fruits (such as mango, jackfruit, or banana)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Combine coconut milk, sugar, and a pinch of salt in a pot over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Add the glutinous rice balls and tapioca pearls. Cook until the rice balls are cooked through and the tapioca pearls are translucent.
  3. Stir in the tropical fruits and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  5. Serve warm or chilled.

Notes

Soak the tapioca pearls for 30 minutes before cooking to speed up the process. Feel free to experiment with different tropical fruits for unique flavors.
