Delightful coconut macaroons made with sweetened shredded coconut and condensed milk, perfect for celebrations and family gatherings.
Ingredients
- 3 1/4 cups shredded coconut (sweetened)
- 7 ounces sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the sweetened shredded coconut with the sweetened condensed milk.
- Using a tablespoon-sized cookie dough scoop, pack the coconut mixture into the scoop and drop it onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes until the cookies are lightly browned.
- Let the cookies set on the sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a cooler surface.
Notes
For added flavor, press a few chocolate chips into the top of each macaroon before baking. Consider mixing in nuts for an extra crunch.
