Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup sugar for topping
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon for topping


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, mix the melted butter, milk, and eggs until fully combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just mixed.
  5. Transfer the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  6. In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon for the topping. Sprinkle it evenly over the batter.
  7. Bake for 45-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
